2012 CRCRC Winter Mid-West Champ

The 2012 CRCRC Winter Mid-West Championships were held January 12th-15th at The Ohio R/C Factory in Jeffersonville, OH. This year would mark the 25th Annual running of this great event in the Mid-West. Kyosho would once again bring a big team this year which included: Jared Tebo, Shaun Dunlap, Zack Rogers, Andrew Parente, Andrew Michael, Brian Roeder, and Kyosho America Team Manager Joe Pillars.

Race Schedule:
Thursday, January 12th: Open Practice
Friday, January 13th: 2 Rounds of Qualifying
Saturday, January 14th: 2 Rounds of Qualifying
Sunday, January 15th: Triple A-Main Events

2wd Modified Short Course

In the 2wd Modified Short Course Class, Kyosho/Team Orion's Jared Tebo would just miss the overall TQ and would start 2nd for the Triple A-Mains on Sunday. There would also be 5 more Kyosho SC-R SP's in the A-main joining Tebo. This giving Kyosho 6 out of the 10 short courses in the A-Main!

In A-Main #1, Jared Tebo and Ryan Cavalieri would battle it out early with Tebo pulling away at the end to take the Win! Cavalieri would finish 2nd and Ryan Maifield in 3rd.

In A-Main #2, Tebo and Maifield would stretch out their lead on the field and have an epic battle of their own. Tebo would once again come out on top would take the Win! This giving Tebo the 2wd Modified Short Course Championship for his 2nd year in a row! Maifield finished 2nd and Cavalieri 3rd.
