Sonic Engines race report

Dennenmoser double @ BaWü Cup

With 197 participants during the season the Bawü Cup is one of Germany's biggest Off-Road racing series. The 6th and final round took place at Großheubach the 6./7. of Ocotber which attracted only 80 drivers this time because of the bad weather forecast.

Ralf "Bombe" Dennenmoser dominated the complete event TQ'ing both the truggy and the buggy class as well as winning both semi finals and finals. In the truggy class he managed to do 11min pit-stops which gave him a big advantage over the other competitors. He won the 20min semi-final by 3 laps and also in the final he was 3 laps in front after 20min. Unfortunately he had a small technical problem but as he was fast enough he crossed the finishing line one lap in front of the second placed driver. In the overall truggy standings he finished the season in 1st place with Manuel Rapp taking the runner-up spot also driving a Sonic engine.

The buggy final was a little bit closer, but "Bombe" managed to recover after a crash at the start fought his way back to the top. After 30min of finest racing he saw the checkered flag in first position giving him the overall win of the 2012 season. His teammate Fabian Schneider finshed on 4th position also using the Sonic V.21B engine.

"Bombe" had the following to say:

"I'm really excited about the Sonic engines as they ran perfectly all season. Using the Sonic 2099 muffler for buggy and the Sonic 2069 for Truggy gave me the right combination of speed and fuel consumption."
