Viper RC race report

Amezcua/Viper win at Chi Town Shootout

After an impressive top 10 finish earlier this year at the Reedy Race of Champions, Travis Amezcua took double wins at the Chi Town Shootout in Joliet, IL. His Viper powered Durango's for take the Top Qualifying spot in 4wd Modified Buggy and the overall wins in 4wd Modified Buggy and 2wd Modified Buggy.

But his winning didn't end there, Viper power also drove Travis to 4wd and 2wd Modified class wins in the Dash for Cash. Only thing better than winning the trophies, is winning the cash!!!! Travis used Viper VTX10R and VTX10 Black Edition speed controls and Viper motors to power his money making victories.

NemoRacing race report

Bordeaux Merignac GP

Another successful week-end for the Nemo Racing team for the usual Bordeaux Merignac GP!

Weather conditions were much better than expected with 2 sunny days! Track was awesome! Flat and technical. We can't look for better conditions.
About 100 drivers were present, who allow us a lot of running. 4 qualifications rounds of 7 minutes was decided by the organisers, with all the main in 20 min on sundays! A lot of running time for all the drivers, which is nice.

I would like to thanks all the agama team drivers for their result and nice spirit showed!
Vincent Decla, Jean Marie Lemoine, Emeric Pierre, Arthur Airaud and I got the Main final in E buggy Class. A special Well done To Jean Marie for his podium finish

In Nitro class, Jean Marie Lemoine, Arthur Airaud, Morgan Puyssilloux and I were also on the main. Unfortunately I ran out of fuel which did not allow me to finish the strong battle with my friend Jerome! but no problem, it's only the beginning of the season and the occasion will be back soon ;-)

I would like to thanks Frederic Cellier and his crew for their work. The event was really fun and we all enjoy it.

See you in 2 weeks for the opening season of the French national....

Jerome

VP-Pro race report

More great news from Estonia! VP driver Rainer Ressar win!

Väike-Maarja was the host to the 2nd leg of the Indoor Offroad Trophy Cup. The race consisted of 5 qualifying runs and 3 finals.
The morning runs were quite cold, I struggled for grip and tried the Striker UF tyre, which gave more gripbut on the other hand resulted in grip-rolling. Later on I changed back to Turbo Traxx UF, which was more comfortable and faster, in the end 2nd at the end of Qualifying.

The first final was the most intense race in a while for me and the crowd. A error in the first corner forced me back to last place with 10 seconds to first place, I was taking back places throughout the heat. On the last lap I caught up to first place driver Tõnu tooming and in the last corner I made my move and took first place by 0,3 seconds. the second final was less stressful with me taking a early lead and keeping it to the end of the heat, which secured victory. The third final was more of a practice run, i tried some different lines and practiced high-speed cornering finishing the heat 2nd.

Also, Viljar Kask managed to take 4th place with the Striker UF and Toomas Gustav Sula achieved 3rd in the 1/10 2WD class with the Friction UF+Turbo Traxx UF. The brand is starting to spread aongst the racers, hopefully the summer will show more racers with VP-Pro racing gear.

1/8 Open

1. Rainer Ressar Xray/GensAce/Vp-Pro
2. Tõnu Tooming Team Durango/Turnigy/
3. Kuldar Ilus Losi/Mamba/AKA
4. Viljar Kask Team Durango/LRP/VP-Pro

1/10 2WD

1. Tõnu Tooming Team Durango/Robitronic/
2. Bruno Vaher Team Durango/Robitronic/
3. Toomas Gustav Sula Team Associated/Nosram/VP-Pro

Sunday saw the 6th leg of the Onroad Trophy Cup held at Saue High School. I was given the opportunity to race a Traxxas 1/16 car out of the box, so the plan was simple, add stickers and go racing. Having less speed and acceleration made the racing much more intense, but in the end I managed to get 3rd in qualifying and 2nd overall beating 3 brushless cars and coming close to victory.

Traxxas 1/16

1. Üllar Kasemets Traxxas/Brushless
2. Rainer Ressar Traxxas/Brushed
3. Toomas Ramm Traxxas/Brushless

I'd like to thank VP-Pro for the support they have given me so far and for more great results to come.
