Quite a bit of a disappointing day for me today. We had one round of qualifying and then they ran through the C-mains. I needed a solid 3rd run in all my classes basically to make the A-mains. First up was Truggy where I had a good run going until the final 2 laps where I made some mistakes and fell to 9th for the round. This was enough still to make the A though as I will start 7th.

In E-Buggy my pinion gear backed off and stopped me on my TQ run for the round. In Short Course it was my one bright spot in which I was able to take the TQ for the round and thus the overall TQ for the class. In Nitro buggy I had a great start and was up to 2nd. However had a mechanical issue where I couldn’t run up to pace for the remainder of the race and finally bowed out on the last lap. All I had to do was finish the lap to make the A but it wasn’t to be and thus I start 3rd in the B. I’m sure I can bump up and the track time will be a good thing. Looking forward to a good day tomorrow.
